Well-Versed Kids :: Scripture Memory Program
Children in their elementary years have a great capacity to memorize just about anything. What better concepts to memorize than the Word of God? As they enter their adolescent years the Holy Spirit will use these verses to reach into their hearts and guide those important decisions they will ultimately face.
Our Well Versed Kids program for 3rd through 6th graders has been adapted from the Navigators’ book Topical Memory System for Kids. The memory program is divided into three main topics and offers different levels of scripture memory.
Memorizing scripture is God’s idea. Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.”
Well-Versed Kids Sunday is celebrated at the end of the school year. We acknowledge the children who complete the program during the worship services to celebrate their accomplishments.
