MCC’S GLOBAL Outreach Team

The vision of the Global Outreach Team (or the “GO Team”) is to join in God’s work around the world. 
 
The pursuit of this vision is ultimately about people - MCC’s own people who go around the world and the capable people and effective organizations with whom we partner. The people that make up our Global Outreach Team pursue: 

  • Church planting

  • Medical work

  • Radio outreach

  • Community development

  • Leadership training

  • Evangelism

  • Compassion, Mercy and Justice

HOW GOD MOVES TO MAKE OUR GLOBAL VISION POSSIBLE

God makes global missions possible as He moves people to join Him in serving around the world. This team of global servants is supported prayerfully and financially by the people of MCC who have a heart for people everywhere to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

ONE MISSION, TWO BUDGETS 

MCC has two ministry budgets: one for our ministry here in Modesto (the General Fund), the other supporting our Global Outreach (the Missions Budget). Our Global Outreach is funded only through our Missions Budget, and the Missions Budget is resourced only through designating.

DESIGNATING FOR MISSIONS            

We give to Global Outreach by designating a portion of our tithe checks to Missions. For example, if a person were to write a check to MCC for $100, they could then put "$25 to missions" on the memo line. We are free to designate any amount of our tithe to Missions ministry. Without designating, the entire check is credited to our General Fund. If you are giving by text, please note that a second, separate text should be sent with the words, "Missions $[amount}". Thanks for designating to Missions!

FAITH PROMISE…SEEING GOD MOVE FIRST-HAND!            

The people of MCC are asked to consider making a financial commitment to Missions out of their planned giving. We also challenge people to make a “Faith Promise” for Missions. This is an amount over and above our regular, planned tithing that we wait in faith for God to provide during the year. As He does, we also designate it to Missions.
