The gospel, or good news of Jesus Christ is for everyone, everywhere. We are called by our gracious God to proclaim this good news, this message of God’s blessing available to all peoples in Christ. We invite you to be reinvigorated in this call this Mission Focus 2021. What an amazing reality that we get to join God in his mission to all people, everywhere!

Mission Focus begins! Introduction of theme and missionary testimonies begin in our morning services.
SUNDAY, APRIL 18
Christina Burrows will be our guest speaker during morning services. Christina is a Director of Training with One Collective, “ a global non-profit that works in communities around the world and is passionate about making sure no one is invisible and everyone has access to food, freedom, and forgiveness. Following Jesus - they bring people together to help the oppressed in order that lives and communities can be transformed.” We are excited to hear from Christina!

MISSION WORKSHOP : “Why the Unreached are Still Unreached” led by Partner International’s Sam Rima (Sam will join us virtually from Spokane, WA). How is it that in this day and age there are still those who have yet to hear the good news of Jesus Christ? Sam will lead us in a workshop that explores this reality and the different layers involved in answering this question. We wrap up mission focus during our Sunday morning worship with an opportunity to commit to supporting our mission partners with prayer and giving.

4/19 (Monday) 6 PM Elizabeth Silva with Students International in the Dominican Republic and will join us virtually. Sponsored by the MCC Young Adults group, meeting in the Front Room. RSVP here. Elizabeth is the operations coordinator for Students International in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Students International is focused on meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people in hard-to-reach communities in Latin America.
