GRIEFSHARE-Mondays,

Aug. 22 - Nov. 28

6:30PM - 8:00PM

We welcome you to join us as we deal with many emotions tied to the loss of a loved family member or friend. This may be a recent death or a loved one who died many years ago. Grief can be tricky as it changes format from day to day, similar to a roller coaster with its highs and lows. There is hope for recovery and finding true joy again. GriefShare walks you through a process in an orderly fashion with others who have also experienced great losses. Join us as we walk this journey together. Sign up at GriefShare.org.

Griefshare is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close.  It's a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss.  This can be a recent loss or one that you have been dealing with for a long time. Registration is $15 (scholarships are available).

What TO expect:

Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar and group discussion.  A GriefShare workbook assists you with note taking, journaling and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic reenactments about living with grief and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses just like yours.

During the small group discussion time, you'll have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and share your own.

GriefShare is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Join us as we help each other cope with the loss of a loved one and ultimately receive hope for the future.

Stephen Ministry

What Is Stephen Ministry?

Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained by Stephen Leaders to offer high-quality, one-to-one Christian care to people going through tough times. A Stephen Minister usually provides care to one person at a time, meeting with that person once a week for about an hour. Twice a month, Stephen Ministers gather with their Stephen Leaders for supervision and continuing education.
